The entry page is a WordPress blog, but it is rarely used - last post was March 2008.

The observations page is the main feature.

Uses a Google Maps mashup to display rainfall estimates. The software to generate these has proved very reliable and little work is required to keep it going.
Vegetation estimates never automated - not updated.
Coverage for Africa only. Asian coverage on alternate site.
